On October 29th, a federal ACA training conference will take place in Des Moines for Employers to gain information on the 2015 employer requirements and changes to the Affordable Care Act.
The conference will include presentations by the U.S. Department of Treasury-Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Kansas City Regional Office. Federal officials will address new employer reporting requirements, the employer shared responsibility payment, the small business tax credit, and the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP). The conference will emphasize important information relevant to employers, attorneys, CPAs and controllers, HR professionals, employee benefits administrators, and union representatives, among others.
