On October 30th, a federal Health Insurance Marketplace training conference will take place in Des Moines for Stakeholders to gain information on the 2015 changes to the Marketplace and ACA requirements.
The conference will include presentations by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Kansas City Regional Office, the U.S. Department of Treasury-Internal Revenue Service, and the U.S. Department of Labor. Federal officials will include information on auto-enrollment process for 2015 coverage and the redetermination process for 2015, best practices for enrollers, the 2015 marketplace rules, and a Medicaid update which includes discussion on Medicaid's new outreach program. The conference will emphasize important information relevant to enrollment assisters, stakeholders seeking to better serve their constituencies, and community and consumer-based organizations.
